Lexie's Life

It has been so hot here lately! Last week we were up to 114 degrees! Way too hot for me. We are now enjoying our 95 degree weather thanks to monsoon season. I love this time of year, the lightning, the thunder, the sound of the rain on the window….my biggest fear though, what if the power goes out?! Silly, but it really scares me. I now keep a flashlight in the diaper bag, which goes everywhere with me!

So, Tiffany was with us for a while, but unfortunatly, she had to leave early. She was so much fun to have around here and we are really sad that she had to go. Her friend Cody had gotten a one way ticket here and was going to drive back with her, but now that she isn’t here, he was going to cancel the trip. Turns out, his ticket is non-refundable. So, we told him to come out anyways, and now he and Tiffany are going to fly out here for the last week of July. We are really excited.

So, speaking of traveling, we will be up in Green River next month!!!! We are flying out on August 10 and driving to Soda Springs to visit Grandma and Grandpa first, then driving back to Green River on Sunday to visit with everyone else there. We are flying back to Phoenix on the 15th. We are so excited to go back and visit. For a lot of people, it will be the first time they get to meet our babies!! I just can’t wait and I know this next month is going to drag on! Anyways, just a little update. We are all doing really great, Asher is crawling like crazy now and he can actually stand himself up! He walks along the couch in the living room, I am so proud of him! Haylee is doing wonderful too, she is now saying allelulia and glory at church with her arms in the air!! She is so silly. Aaron and I are doing great, he is just finishing up the busy time of the year, so we have more time to hang out. I have joined Curves since I gained 11 pounds in the last month. It is really cool so far, I am excited to have my buddy Rachel to help motivate me and I can motivate her. I am lucky to have a great friend like her and the support of my hubby to reach my goals!
