Silver City

I am sitting in the hotel room in Silver City, waiting for Aaron to get back from an appointment. I took Haylee bug swimming just a bit ago. We had such a good time. She absolutly loves the water! She giggles and splashes a lot. She was rather cranky when we got back from the pool though. She was just hungry. Now she is playing on the bed with her toys and kicking me! We got a different hotel this week because I really wanted a pool to go swimming in because 2 weeks ago I started a water aerobics class, and I am going to be missing it for the next 2 weeks. I am really excited though, I am going to Disneyland for the first time. OK, not really the first time, but the last time I went I was like 2 or 3, I don’t remember. Aaron’s dad called us up and asked us if we wanted to go with them, and we couldn’t refuse. It will be fun for us, but I am not going to be able to do all of the fun roller coasters, but I heard there are not that many roller coasters to do anyways. It will be Haylee’s first time going also, so for Mother’s Day, they got me a new digital camera. I have been wanting a new one for quite some time now, and so we went to go pick out one. We went to Wal-Mart first, but the one that I liked they didn’t have in stock. We went to Target to see what they had, and they had a really nice one that had excellent zoom on it and really good extras. We got the Kodak Easy Share C643. It has been working great, but I need to make sure how to get the pictures to fit on here for my album. I am going to have a lot of picutres to post in about 2 weeks. We will be getting home on Friday morning, then I will be doing laundry while Aaron goes to work, then we will be leaving Saturday morning to Albuquerque. Aaron’s little sister Brittney is graduating from high school on Monday, and we really want to hang out with some friends on Saturday night. We are going to stay there for the whole week. We will be leaving to California on Thursday. We are actually going to trade our truck in on Saturday for the new Honda Fit. We need a 4 door car. We will be driving to California. We looked into flying, but it was too much money for such short notice. We are all going, his whole family. There will be 10 of us sharing 2 hotel suites and 10 of us piled into 2 cars! It is going to be quite a trip! I am really excited to go. I love to travel. I wish I could go out of the country one day. I have been to Nogales, Mexico for a few hours to look around, but that is only 1 hour out of the country. I would love to go to Rome. That would be awesome. I think when Aaron and I get older and the kids are on their own, we will be able to travel. Our goal is to go to every state in the United States of America. We also want to go to the top 10 theme parks in America. That would be a blast. Anyways, I am done now, Aaron is back and we are going to hang out. Have a God Filled Day!!!!

It’s Been A While!

Sorry it has been such a long time since I have written! We have been really busy around the house and traveling!! We also couldn’t get an internet connection anymore. We will have to get our own internet connection now, but we won’t do that until we are done traveling. We don’t see the point in paying for something if you are not there to use it!

So, we finally got our front yard landscaped. We took out a big chunk of the gray rock that was there and replaced it with tan crusher-fines. We took rock our on both sides of the driveway and also made a pathway on the side of the house to the backyard. The backyard will have a big spot for grass, then the area around it we are putting the gray rock that we took out of the front yard. We ran out of that rock, so whenever we are home for a weekend, we are going to order that and finish that up. We made our patio out of the crusher fines also, it was cheaper than doing cement. We also planted a cute little Mexican Fan Palm Tree in the front yard. It is small, but it seems to be fanning out really quickly. We are really excited to see some changes in our yard. We are the only ones in our neighborhood to do any work on the front yard, everyone else seems to be working on their backyards. There is one guy that was getting ready to start to put up a wall in his front yard as we were leaving, so it will be interesting to see that when we get back.

I am very excited today. It is my very first official Mother’s Day. I considered myself a mother last year since I was pregnant, but now I have my little angel in my arms and the other one on the way. I had my first doctor’s appointment the other day. As of today, we are 9 weeks and 3 days along. I have an officialdue date of December 12. Since we are doing another C-Section this time, they will deliver a week early. (They don’t want to risk me going into labor.) My midwife was saying that she thinks this baby will be bigger than Haylee. If that is the case, they will actually deliver earlier. I am really hoping that is not true since Haylee was 8 pounds 6 ounces!!! She was huge and I was in pain towards the end of my pregnancy. It is funny, but this one is already more painful than Haylee’s. I think it is because my scar is only 6 months old and everything is wanting to stretch. Most of my pain is in my back. I feel like it is on fire all day. I try heat and the little bit of Tylenol that is allowed to no avail! I am really having a great time being a mother though. I would not trade in my job for any amount of money! My daughter is amazing and so is my husband. He takes such good care of us and makes my job easier. I love my family so much! Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers and grandmother’s out there. I hope you all had a great GOD-FILLED DAY!!!
