Exciting news!!
Well hello everyone! Sorry sorry sorry that I have not kept on this more! Things have been so crazy busy for us around here! Our little kids are growing up so fast, and now that Asher is walking, he is kinda hard to keep up with! He and Haylee just love playing together though, they keep eachother company, that is for sure!
Haylee turned two on October 23, and we cannot believe it! It seems like yesterday we were celebrating her first birhtday! She is doing so great. She recently had surgery on her left thumb from a strange thing called “Trigger Thumb”. What happens is there is a thickened ligament on the inside of her thumb, and she put a lot of pressure on it and caused it to “lock” in a bent position. I thought she dislocated it, so I took her to the ER, they did some X-Rays, figured it was just dislocated, “put it back in place” and sent us home. They had us do a follow-up with a hand surgeon to be sure she didn’t have any nerve damage. Luckly when we went, they realized what was really wrong and got it taken care of right away! She did really great! She has a little 1″ incision on the inside of her hand where the crease is, so you would never even know! Other than all of that, she is doing great. She has a bit of a chest cold right now that we are working on getting better, but she is still running around and chasing her brother! Boy does he get a kick out of that! She really does love him!
Asher is doing really great as well! He will be one on December 5th and I cannot believe that! He has always seemed so much like a baby to me, and now he is going to be one?!!! What happened!? He has been running around here since he was 10 months. He really wanted to keep up with Haylee, so he started walking kinda early! He has been healthy for the most part, just a cold here and there. He is such a happy baby, he never really cries much! He smiles every time you look at him and makes our day, especially when you see that he has 3 of his 4 top teeth, he is missing one of his front teeth, so he looks so adorable! It is coming in now though, so he will just look adorable! Hm, he is doing good, not much else to put about him.
Aaron is doing good. He is so busy working! He has been working on gaining a little weight and muscle, so he is always eating and working out! He looks really great! Every time we go to Albuquerque, people are suprised at how good he is looking. I am really proud of him, anytime he puts his mind to it, he accomplishes it! He is such a great man in our lives! Our 3 year anniversary is coming up on December 11th! It is so weird, it seems like we have been together forever, but we have only been married 3 years. We have known eachother for almost 7 years though.
As for me, I am doing well. I have been so tired!! I have been taking naps when the kids take naps so I can do what I need to do the rest of the day! There is a reason for that though….we found last week that we are pregnant again!! During the summer, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. Because of our religion, there are not very many treatment choices that we feel comfortable with. One of our options though was to get pregnant again! We took that option and ran with it! That will give us a year or so to figure out what to do! My OBGYN did tell us that we can have 4 children though!! That was awesome, my last ob told me we could only have 3 since they are all going to be C-Sections! We are very excited. We saw the baby today, and it already has a nickname…Flicker! That is about all you can see! We are officially 5 weeks and 6 days along. My due date is July 22nd, which happens to be my mothers birthday!! She is totally convinced that I will have the baby that day, but unfortunately, they will deliver 7-10 days early, they don’t like us C-Section-ers to go into labor! It will be nice because it will be a summer baby and we will be able to have his mother out, and possibly mine! So, if it is a boy, his name will be Brody Aaron, and if it is a girl, her name will be Payslee Rose! We cannot wait to go through this pregnancy! Plus, I have a pregnancy buddy, she is a really close friend of mine that is 7 weeks along. We are trying to see if we can go to the same OBGYN and have our appointments on the same day!! LOL, this is her first, so she is totally scared! She calls me a lot for advice and to answer her endless list of questions! I love her though, she is really great!
So, all in all, we have had a great few months! Thanksgiving was great because that is the day we announced our news to everyone. We have our tree and decorations out to get ready for Christmas. The kids are actually doing really great not touching the tree suprisingly!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I love you all!
